The Nursery Value Select (NVS) program aims to provide growers with a simpler, more efficient alternative to previous Nursery policies. 

While previous Nursery programs required growers to forecast specific components of their inventories several months into the future and to provide a list of plants, NVS requires only an estimate of the wholesale value of the inventory; determinations of individual plant value are only required when there is a loss. This will allow growers to adapt their inventory to meet customer demand without complicated reporting requirements.
